This app helps doctors screen patients for epilepsy and seizures. Patients input details of their symptoms at home. Next, the algorithm sorts the data to find the most likely diagnoses. When the app gathers information for you, there’s less of a rush at doctor appointments. This gives doctors and patients more time to connect.
The technobabble:
We built the app on both iOS and Android, using Swift and Java/XML respectively. Its server uses Java REST services and accesses a MySQL database.

To begin, we listened closely to people with epilepsy to tailor the app to their needs. Next, we designed a patient-centric user interface. It includes gamification features to improve engagement.
Tracker App

This app helps people with epilepsy receive care and attention during a seizure. It detects when a seizure begins or can be triggered during the aura phase. When this happens, it alerts the patient’s designated caregiver. This way, the caregiver can attend to the patient. The app also prompts the caregiver to record the seizure, which can be useful to show the doctor later.
Medication Tracker

The Medication Tracker app for Android helps users track their medication. The user creates a medication list including dosage, frequency, and intake. The app uses notifications to remind users to take their meds. It also includes a feature they can use to describe any possible side effects.
Educational Book App

The Educational Book App for iOS informs users of all ages with a variety of topics including poverty, workplace strategies, mental health, and more. This app allows users to view their books in a library format, get a brief synopsis of each book, and order them as a physical or digital copy.
